FAQ
Please note all our luggage covers are unique sizing, and based on model number. Please check your model number well prior to ordering. If you would like to change to the correct size, please check our returns policy here.
If you find our luggage cover is sticking onto your luggage, we recommend using the thin sheet provided to put your cover on. The thin sheet acts as a barrier, ensuring a smooth application without the cover gripping onto the luggage surface. Simply place the thin sheet on top of the luggage, put the cover on as usual, and gently pull the thin sheet out once the cover is in place. Repeat the process on the other side
If you notice that your luggage cover feels stiff, especially in colder weather, rest assured that this is a normal characteristic of PVC, which tends to contract in lower temperatures. To make our cover more malleable, you can blow dry it briefly with a hair dryer and this should soften the PVC, making it easier to install.
If you're experiencing difficulty with your luggage cover fitting, it might be due to having the wrong size. Our luggage covers are not universal. They are made to specifically fit the different Rimowa Models. To check your Rimowa model number, refer to this page.
Upon intial application, you may notice there are slight gaps in some areas, but rest assured, over time the cover slowly moulds to the lugagge.
Additionally, our covers for RIMOWA polycarbonate models are designed to have slightly more room, as polycarbonate tends to be sticky and grip, making it difficult to put the cover on. This intentional allowance ensures a more seamless application for you.
Once the luggage has been unfolded, and put onto your lugagge, the creases will disappear as the PVC material settles.
If you've lost your installation material, you can cut up a large plastic bag to use instead. Just make sure it covers the whole surface of your luggage.
